If there is not too much pitchfork damage on the hides, they will be used.

Thorn and barbed wire scratch:
The leather is not acceptable if there is more thorn and barbed scratces on the surface.

Belly grain:
If there is not too much belly grain on the hides, they will be use for aniline type of leather.

Shoulder, ribby:
Shoulder ribby looks nice on the finished leather.

Brand fire:
Brand or mark on the butt area of a cattle hide will be acceptable if there is one or two.

Defect curing and storage:
This type of deffects are not acceptable.

Eczama damage:
The leather which has got eczama damage will be used inside of finish products (garments, shoes, hand bag

Horn rake:
With a few and ligth horn rake of hide, thus not dishing its value.

Scratch, currycomb:
This scratch is not going to be a problem and it shows that cattle raiser rears cattle well.

Damage, cattle-shed:
A lot of cattle-shed damage is not acceptable on hides.

Damage, tyck:
The leather will be used if there is not too much tick damage.

Operation mark:
The leather which has got operation mark can be used exept furniture leather.
