The customers’ orders, which were stored during wet blue sorting, stay together until delivery. So, the shaved leathers go into the dye-house together, too. The process that follows here, the retannage, is carried out according to a special formula in a dyeing drum. It consists of several different production steps: Neutralization, retannage, dyeing, and greasing.
